Events

In addition to monthly meetings, the club holds the following events throughout the year:

September: New 2 You Sale (Children's Equipment, Clothing, Toys and Bake Sale). Event is open to the public and is held at Glenshaw Presbyterian Church in Shaler. If you would like to be on the mailing list for this event, please contact us.

October: Halloween Party (members only)

December: Holiday Party (members only), Mom's Holiday Dinner (members only)

March/April: Easter Egg Hunt (members only)

April: State Convention (members only, location varies throughout PA). 2008's event is being held in Scranton, PA...see you all there!

June/July: Planning and Budget Meeting, Summer Picnic (members only)

July: Mom's Night Out (members only; in lieu of meeting)

Also, throughout the year the club engages in active philathropic work.  This past year, we were priviledged to host our state convention for POMOMC in April, and raised some additional funds for Charitable Giving.  We generally try to support organizations that are local and address the needs of parents and families, especially those with multiples.  This year's recipients include: North Hills Community Outreach Food Bank, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh - Child Life Department, Kids Voice, American Canncer Society, North Hills Youth Ministry, West Penn NICU, AGH Suburban Pediatric Unit, Girls on the Run, and Crisis Center North.
